SDGs Special Event in WCCE-APCChE2025 - Research Proposal on SDGs from Youth

July 17, 2025, Beijing, China.

Call for Participating Students

SCEJ will host the SDGs Special Event - Research Proposal on SDGs from Youth in WCCE/APCChE2025, which has been taking after the Sapporo Declaration "Declaration on the United Nations SDGs at Sapporo 2019 - Chemical Engineering for Human Well-Being." The previous Students' Programs took place in APCChE2019, 2022, and 2023.

In this event, students will join a weekly online seminar, learn from the lectures on "chemical engineering for SDGs" by professional advisors from various fields, and generate bottom-up research proposals related to SDGs through international online collaborations. Then, students will present their proposals at the SDGs event in WCCE/APCChE2025 in Beijing, and discuss with participants how to collaborate and contribute to the achievement of SDGs through partnership. This is a unique opportunity for students to learn to collaborate internationally and generate research proposals.
